Ok, heres whats being mischaracterized.
- The issue with Kevin Clinesmith who was charged by Durham investigation was because he altered an email from the CIA that said Carter Paige had previously been a source for them. His supervisors, the ones who are supposedly in a conspiracy against Trump, asked if Paige was a CIA source which led to the email exchange between Clinesmith and a CIA representative. The court found that he didnt act with political bias and was just trying to save himself some work. He got probation. Again, this was the 4th extenstion for the wiretap of Carter Paige who they believed was targeted by Russia agents. If Clinesmith did nothing wrong there would still have been the wiretap on Paige as well as atleast 3 extensions. This has nothing to do with the investigation being a fake or a fraud.
The issue with Sussman is he may have lied to the FBI regarding some minor story about a bank that I think had about 10 posts about it in the 500+ pages of the Russia investigation thread. I see the high stepping by people about this but the bank was a very minor story that did not start the crossfire hurricane investigation or start the public belief that Trump was compromised by Russia. Most people heard it reported. Never heard any follow up stories and forgot about it.
They keep calling the Steele Dossier fake. Some things in it have not been verified. Some have. Steele was pretty open about it being raw intelligence that needed further investigation. I personally dont give a **** about a pee tape nor do I think it would effect his support in any meaningful way. Crossfire Hurricane had been going for months before they even learned of the Steele Dossier which was used for FISA warrants. They can argue all they want about the dossier but it was used for wiretaps not as the justification for the investigation. If the wiretapes were rejected by the FISA court the investigation would not have suddenly ended or never existed to begin with.
Clinesmith literally altered an e-mail to give the exact opposite conclusion.
This was a man that texted 'Vive la resistance' after Trump won the election.
I love now how the verdict given in a court case is all Cajun needs to determine his assessment. I guess all those black people illegally thrown in jail by cops and courts are justified by him now.

I believe what the Mueller report said about Russia hacking the DNC. I kept a pretty open mind though. If you remember correctly I was open to the whole Seth Rich thing.
Paul Manafort met with and gave highly valuable campaign data to Russian agent. I believe that. Manafort was convicted for lying about it to the FBI. Beyond that I believe Trump has financial ties to Russians that probably isnt legitimate. We shall see on that.

You can believe whatever Muellers Democrat team said (Mueller did not even know where he was half the time).
Or, you can believe the CEO of crowdstrike that did the actual investigation of the servers when he said, "There was no physical evidence of data exfiltration". So I then wonder - How could the DNC be hacked without any evidence of the hack? Anyone with half a brain knows it was Seth Rich that stole the data and then was killed as a result.

I would give stock to this theory that Clinesmith was a Trump hater trying to take him down if there was any reasonable expectation in getting that 4th extension would have led to Trump going down. The guy did a bad. He shouldnt a done it. He should be punished. But I fail to see the big deal outside of violating Paige's civil rights. It changes literally noting about the investigation. Might the wiretape of Paige ended if he didnt alter the email? Probably. Does the whole investigation end? No. The only thing exposing this would really accomplish is getting any evidence gained from that 4th wiretap extension thrown out as inadmissible. There wasnt any incriminating evidence found in that 4th wiretap extension so I fail to see how it changes anything regarding the investigation.
