Gomez: Carlos Baerga said on his IG Live that Freddie Freeman will be signing with the Blue Jays, who according to Baerga, could experimenting Vladdy Jr. in other positions.

Baerga broke Marcus Semien and Yimi Garcia's signing and Berrios contract extension.
 
I’m going to miss Freddie but Olsen won’t necessarily be a downgrade even in the short term. I just hope we can use the cash saved to upgrade somewhere else.

This is going to hurt with the casuals though. A friend called me last night to say our focus should be on locking up Dansby Swanson because “ This is his team now.”

I hope this doesn’t damped enthusiasm for the team.

It’s so hard for me to believe people think this is Dansby’s team. He may be a vocal leader but this is clearly Ronald’s team now. He’s the face.

Most of Braves country likely has never seen Olsen play.

Dansby is the nice southern boy from GA and been here since suntrust opened. So the rednecks in braves country will want to give him that title not Ozzie or Acuña because they don't speak like Freddie or Dansby.
 
The rednecks I know tend to own either Chipper or Acuna jerseys. Pretty boy Dansby isn't exactly the type that resonates with that crowd. But maybe I run with a higher class of hicks.

The bashing of Acuña from Braves Country on social media during the long single fiascos was more than enough sample size.

I'm glad however that it's ok for you to use twitter as an example for everything you preach, but not ok for me to use it in jest.
