There has to be something done to get a true CF or an impactful player out there. Duval had to start in CF last season out of necessity…He shouldn’t have become a permanent mainstay out there…He’s a platoon guy.

Will be a huge mistake. He hasn't played full games yet - at all - much less back to back full games playing defense. It's the Cubs for crying out loud and you've got your 3 best SPs lined up.

You've waited this long, don't screw it all up by getting impatient a week early. Once he plays defense for 9 innings three days in a row and wakes up the next morning available to play with no swelling or pain, put him in the lineup.

If that's next weekend after playing Tuesday through Thursday for Gwinnett, that's plenty soon enough (and still a week ahead of schedule).

If they were babying him, I probably wouldn't disagree. He's stealing bases every day there and sliding head first into home. Bring em up and let em DH every 3rd day for a while
