Because teams will purposely foul Howard because he is a horrible FT shooter. And Noah isn't looking to shoot, he is looking to pass to his teammates.

If the ball went thru. Noah more, his usage rate would be higher

Who ever said Noah was a good shooter? But even with that he is worlds better than Howard as a shooter. howard is so bad at shooting he won't even attempt to do so. You basically don't have to worry about Howard scoring if he is further than 8 feet from the basket.

So Shaq was a bad offensive player?

There are haircuts on assists for usage rate which is why Howards usage rate is higher. Noah is looking to set up his teammates.

Do you really believe that HOward touches the ball as much as NOah over the course of a game? I really hope you don't believe that.

Shaq had so many more moves in the post than Howard it isn't even worth mentioning. For large stretches of play the Lakers would run their offense through Shaq who has an excellent passer. Actually passing is one of the most overlooked aspects of Shaqs game. That is part of what made him so dominant. You needed to double team him but he was able to make you pay through the pass.

Is it safe to say now that the MVP is KD's to lose? James has been playing well below his standard the last few games and across the board statistically KD is having the superior season.

Howard doesn't get all those points based on him beating a defense. He is basically set up on alley oops or he gets put backs. Also, the opposing team elects to foul him so he gets 2-3 points a game for free. I'm not saying Howard is a crappy player because his defensive value is awesome but it just shocks me how you guys think he is actually a good offensive player.

How many bad offensive ayers average 20 points per game?

Does a hook shot count more than a putback dunk?

Does an offensove rebound putback not count?

Are alley oops not scored as 2 points?

That is ignoring how simple you are acting. Howard is a terpr for opposing centers bc of his strength and quickness; hes a nightmare to guard.

Im amazed you think Noah is a good offensive player, speaking of how limited his offensive game is. (Reason why he scores so much less than Howard and shoots at a far inferior percentage)

Heat are having a lot of issues. Conventional wisdom lead you to believe that they will turn it on during the playoffs but will the playoffs make Allen/Battier younger? Also, James does not look as good out there as he normally does. He looks sluggish and tired.

Davis is Garnett with a better offensive game. Can't say anything bad about him. Fun player to.watch.
