GDT: Fish @ Braves: Time to put some Harris on our chest

Ozzie not hitting much of anything with authority...what was AA thinking giving him that team-friendly extension?
Gold Glover Olson butchering routine ground balls...Snit should play Arcia at first.

Can't wait for Harris' first 0-for-12 stretch. "Son of a bitch, AA stunted his growth for nothing. Should have been Waters so he could come up and go 1-for-30 with 20 strikeouts."

I'd change that to AA shoulda got a real cf in the offseason so we didn't have to rush Harris

Personally, I think Snit and AA should be fired for allowing Riley to father a baby, get very little sleep, and go through a slump.

This is what I said. Btw, don't take what I say out of context.

"Riley is back to swinging at everything. Last year and the beginning of this year he was killing it. I still think dealing with a newborn is taking a lot out of him, which you can understand."

It's more a dig that prolonged slumps and under-performance from some, which have led to a negative run differential and thus a losing record, are somehow all on Snit and AA.

While their pitching opponents lighten up this week, they will still see Zac Gallen on Monday and have 4 games in Coors (including Davidson pitching the opener of that one unless things change).

Snit is half the manager and leader Bobby was.

Was told by Grant McCauley that players will fight for snit but they would have run through a wall for Bobby.

I read that outside of a day off for Swanson I think, that Riley Ozzie and Olson have played every game and inning so far. Zero excuse for that by Snit.

bobby could win with Sunday special lineups or afternoon getaway day lineups.

Weird given Snit is more successful.

Who are the outfielders we unequivocally should have acquired?

Well let’s see, I was pounding the table for a week to get someone like Canha or Pham.

Duvall was a reasonable acquisition on a 1 year deal to play CF. Giving Rosario 2 years was inexcusable. I said so the moment it happened.

Our 5th starter spot is a black hole. As some point they need to let it be Strider. Thank God Wright has exceeded expectations bc that would of really put this team behind the 8 ball.

Rosario will be an interesting fit just when he returns. That being said I think Rosario needs to be given the benefit of the doubt considering the eye injury. Could still be valuable over the life of his deal.

Yep. Read where we’re 20-16 in games started by Fried, Morton, Wright, or Anderson. 2-9 in games started by anyone else.

I certainly wouldn't bet on it, but Davidson has had 2 good starts out of last 3, so hopefully he can lock down the 5-spot.

I’d promote Shuster to AAA for a month and if he’s handling it well then I’d try him out. Davidson in 3 starts has pitched 10.1 innings struck out 7 walked 9 and has given up 10 earned runs. So I wouldn’t say he’s been lighting the world on fire.
