GDT 7/17/22: Braves @ Gnats - Striding into the Break

I actually don’t even see the need for umpires at all. Automated strike zone, and let the players self call all rulings on the field. Any disagreements go to replay in NY. Most calls are so obvious an ump isn’t needed.

Just hire college kids to umpire the base paths.
 
I wish they'd clear the whole tv booth. I'm not a fan of any of them... including frenchy, who most here like

I think Frenchy is good. Byrd is solid. Green seems acceptable (he’s only been in the booth, like twice). I honestly think Moylan might be decent if he wasn’t paired with Jordan. I don’t really have a problem with him.

Just remember, everyone is brought down a peg when Chip Caray is your lead announcer.
