Gas Prices

Kamala is an idiot for bragging about the administration bringing down gas prices. But no more of an idiot that those who were blaming it for high gas prices (of whom there were a few around here if my memory serves me correctly).

I read today the regime is gonna drain another 20 million barrels of oil from the strategic reserves.

All to get a few more pennies of the price of gas before the midterm

What's gonna happen when we need to fill the reserves back up?

Gas prices have now dropped 69 cents per gallon over the last six weeks.

This drop in gas prices is the fastest in over a decade. We will continue

to fight to lower costs for the American people.


$0.69 drop is more that pennies.
I know it isn't like the $4,000 Trump used to buy you but still,

$0.69 a gallon is a windfall to an awful lot of people

(Gas is twice as expensive as it was when he took office and started the assault on the industry)

I agreed with ace as far back as the last gas spike in '08. I think it was Krugman who at the time said about the same thing,
and still do agree.

misunderstood his point of "owning it"

let me slow it down for the short bus

aces is saying that higher gas prices is good for green energy transition. Higher prices means less demand. Biden should be touting higher gas prices as a feature in the acceleration of getting us off fossil fuels. He's saving the planet after all.

That messaging will return after mid terms. But first they have to throw a pizza party for the college kids and give them $10k so they’ll vote this fall.
