He has to save his pen after injuries to two of his starters yesterday and today. Doesn’t really have a choice. And, yeah, they still have a big lead in the division and only have to split this series to pretty much wrap it up.

Oh, it's completely understandable but I'm not sure that a split (5.5 game deficit) guarantees anything with six weeks to go and a bullpen that's leaking oil and three starters who aren't exactly sure things. No doubt they have a distinct edge but I'd like to hope the Braves can keep lurking and at least make the last three games of the season meaningful.
