There are just certain basic rules a manager should not be able to F up

Using your best reliever in August in an 8-1 game is one of them. Using your worst reliever in a game down by 1 in August against the team your chasing is another. You just can’t make those types of mistakes. It’s almost every close game.

It’s just crazy that this team is so good they almost always seem to be in position to win but lose games in very direct ways because of bad managing.

It’s basic science. Pitching three days in a row is going to effect everything.
