GDT 10/1/22: Braves vs Mutts - Ozuna Smash

Never would have guessed we’d beat deGrom and Scherzer in back to back games.

I was hoping for a split. Bassit is tough, and Morton has been up and down. Offense gonna have to come to play on Sunday.

Minter and maybe Iglesias will be available tomorrow. We really need to win that game bad. Not as bad as the Mets though.

Well, if the Mets win, they win the season series, and we'd need them to lose to the Nats at home while we sweep the Marlins.

Win tomorrow and the division is basically ours

Honestly, Bassit is probably their best pitcher right now. And Morton is the worst of our regular starters (not counting Odorizzi). It’s crazy that we’re in this situation, but it’s not going to get any easier.

No matter what happens it's been a great effort from this team. Win tomorrow and we essentially clinch the division, but hard to complain taking 2 out of 3 from a 100 win Mets club throwing their elite aces.

Olson and Riley and Dansby carrying some heavy bags against DeGrom and Scherzer.
New York is gonna be choke city tomorrow.
And Fulton County, I mean the Ted, I mean Suntrust, I mean Truist is gonna be ROCKING tomorrow night !!!!

Still wonder if the Mutts reshuffling their staff was a bad decision.

Hindsight is always 20-20. But as Cy said, Bassit is probably throwing the best of their starters right now. And Morton the worst of ours not named Odo. So Sunday will probably be the hardest game yet.

Yeah - I would think they probably wish they hadn’t done that. It would be nice to have DeGrom going tomorrow against Charlie if I were them.

Of course, the real problem is Charlie is a playoff performance man. And with his new contract - he’s gonna have some extra zip on the ball, and he knows how to stay away from trouble.
Says here Mets are dead meat

Tomorrow is everything. Bury these orange and blue mother****ers.

We gotta win Sunday. Even as up and down as the Mets have been, i dont know if you can rely on the Mets to lose at home to Washington. And we have no margin for error in Miami.
