I’m convinced Twitter was grossly over staffed (as most tech companies are). At the same time, morale is so low at that company that likely the engineers who are choosing to stay at Twitter are the ones not as confident that they would be able to find a new job in this job market.

I like Elon but I think he’s made just about every mistake you could possibly make as a leader.

To me this seems like a great opportunity for the dedicated workers that may have not been at the start up level to re-engage at a 'start up' company and score some major equity awards. So while there may be what you say I think others see it as an opportunity to be 'the guy that stayed'

I’m not sure what I find to be more funny: people blindly trusting Elon Musk to be doing a great job of leading Twitter into a new age without any evidence, or people blindly assuming that Twitter will be shuttered by next month without any evidence. When did the entire internet learn how to run a social media company?

Personally, I wouldn’t apply to work at Twitter. Elon is shouting from a megaphone that he doesn’t care about your work life balance. I consider myself a hard working person (but don’t we all, really?)

I hope Elon is offering to increase compensation for those that stay at Twitter. It seems like an awful place to work at right now.

I think those that stay and are willing to work the hours demanded at a 'start up' will get handsomely rewarded with equity awards.

Yeah but most developers don't want to do that. They would rather get salary and benefits or 2 full-time jobs yet spend less than 40 hours a week actually working. I like Elon but don't care for how he views the work life balance of his devs.

Twitter has been fantastic lately and still not down. Musk is going to make a massive profit when twitters mission statement is to become a free and fair public square that discourages specific types of speech evenly across all political ideologies.

When we look back at this time there will be no way to quantify the value of what Elon has done.

The left is collectively hoping twitter will fail because they know the power it yielded when it was held by the globalists.

Twitter is better than ever and the advertisers are going to be CRAWLING back just like CBS did after pretending it didn't need to be on twitter.

Musk is a genus. Just wish he wouldn't work so much with the CCP.
