Official official offseason thread

Just read a piece on Jay Hey at Dodgers camp…..suddenly wishing he was in our camp!

I haven’t seen any Heyward news but let me guess. He’s worked all winter to change X and he will be back to the player he was in Atlanta. This story has been recycled for a long time now.

I scimmed it and yes.. something about being with FF again and changing his swing completely that he will be back to his old ways. rinse repeat.

I really don't think anyone has any actual expectations for Heyward at this point, spring training happy talk notwithstanding.

Just read this tidbit on battery :

Max Fried and Spencer Strider were among the pitchers for The Atlanta Braves that took part in a live batting practice session Wednesday in North Port. Pitchers were working with the pitch clock in an effort to get ready for the upcoming season. Max Fried struck out Ronald Acuña Jr. in his first at-bat, but Acuña got revenge later taking Fried deep for a home run.

I think reddit has video of Acuna taking Fried deep and Strider making Acuna look foolish. To me it looked like he struck him out with 4 strikes.

Ian strikes out Harris with his new slider. Of course, nothing will matter unless he can throw strikes.
