I am not too worried about old man Mort.. really all we need from our #5 is to eat some innings and win a few games. He should be able to do that.
 
Just like last season, Morton’s fastball is going to be the differentiator. It’s bad… really bad right now. And he relies on it way too much.
 
Charlie ain’t worried about it.. neither should we be- I’m pretty sure he’s not airing it out like he will next week. BUT if he looks like this next week, then we gotta start over reacting and discuss moving him to the pen after a couple of DL stints to send him down to Rome on rehab 😂
 
This lineup is unbelievable. They’re truly relentless.

Also, Albies has looked reeaaallly good in spring training.
 
I mentioned Old man Mort to the pen as a Britton style role. But that is only if Dodd and Shuster are viable and Soroka and maybe one more of Elder/Anderson are showing improvements.

Yeah I doubt Charlie is worried about much making $20 mil
