UK had 28 less fouls called against them in the entire tournament.

NONE of their starters had a foul called on them in the 1st half tonight, but sure lets blame the refs for losing.

They sure in hell charged a lot and not many called, even the announcers was like "that wasn't a charge?" in bewilderment.

Justice was done, those primadonnas got what was coming to them.....finally and their fans are the most whiniest bunch of bitches i have ever seen. Even worst than Patriot fans and that is saying something.

Oh, I forgot: Foul disparity is the definitive way to determine how well a game was officiated. Good stuff, guys! Thanks for the input! You REALLY know basketball!

You lost because your best player is in ****ty shape, you can't hit FT's and Cal got out-coached, again.....stop blaming the officials.

Louisville beat UConn by 40 and beat them 3 times this year....there is no way the game should have been close. UConn doesn't have close to your talent level

Sad Kentucky player is sad

There were a couple calls that went against Kentucky, but not sure how big of an impact they made. Kentucky just couldnt defend, it's amazing that they got to where they were giving up like 1.15 ppp.

The talent level for Kentucky was overstated, imo so I can't harp on Cal too much. He has all freshman playing and were asked to play a high screen/dribble drive offense that is difficult to defend when you have guys that arent experienced. Kentucky is longer, but their guards were able to blow by the twins at will. And while Kentucky did dominated down low a lot of the game, UConn had good length in the front court to slow down drives to the basket and Randle trying to be a bull in a chinashop.

Does Kevin Ollie come to the NBA now?

Is someone gonna hire him bc he was able to get int he tourney as a 7 seed and win with Calhoun's players? They had about as ideal a draw as you could expect for a team winning it all. They really, really should have lost to St. Joes. Iowa State without Ngiang. Mich State when they looked dead tired 5 mins into the game.

Does Kevin Ollie come to the NBA now?

No, if anything he's about to get a huge extension somewhere either in UConn or elsewhere.

The job he did coaching that team was nothing short of magical.

I can see him going either way, he seems like a great fit for college but he was also an NBA PG forever and PGs tend to make good coaches. The NBA will surely come calling, NBA players love him so that'll help. Apparently he is really close with KD

What is, then?

UConn never got to the bonus until the end of the game in the 2nd half when UK had to foul.

It was 24 UK to 10 UConn in FT's.

I do not know how you can possibly blame the refs but here we are.

Yes he is. I'm torn because I like Brooks and the job he has done getting hte team to where they are now but he is clearly an inferior coach. But, I of course want to win the title this year and if that happens they won't fire him. Ollie seems like the best long term coach for the Thunder. I have no clue what to think. The team LOVED him when he was there and credits him with a lot of their improvement.

So a team that shot a lot of jumpers didn't go to the FT line?

OKC winning a ring would be horrible for your long term prospects, a ring means Brooks is there for another 6 years.

No.

But blaming the refs is dumb.

Once Daniels/Boatwright got 2, it got UK back into the game.

UConn was close to blowing them out in the first half until that happened.

Well, that and switching to the zone.. but yeah, Cal sucks and can't coach (3 Final Fours in 5 years, now 18-4 in the NCAA tournament at Kentucky) so let's not give him any credit.
