GDT 4/9/23: Braves vs Padres - An Easter Treat

Even without Fried, Wright, Harris, McHugh, Iggy and a few others, I expected a split at worst. This team is that good. Just a bad series!

*Yes, I know there’s lot of ball to go tonight but I’d be shocked.*

Lucky we pulled out Thursday's game. Losing 3/4 at home isnt good but missing some key players right now, and the offense cant hit **** right now.

thank god we are getting Machado's thoughts on tv shows having multiple seasons being a good thing, this is what I come for, A+ ESPN

He was standing on second and didn’t move until Acuna forgot he was playing a live baseball game. It’s not hard to see if you get Acuna’s prick out of your mouth for a second

God, you’re ****ing cool.

Acuña was laying on the ground. Xander ran when he realized that Acuña wasn’t a super mutant who could throw across the field from his knees. But, I guess Xander has realistic expectations.

The weirder thing is that the offense has struggled with mid-ass Wacha and Lugo on back-to-back nights. Lmao

Like, Riley got an absolute meatball and GIDP. Albies gets an equally as bad pitch and grounds out. No runs.

Since the 90’s, the easiest way to shut down the Braves offense is to throw a mediocre pitcher at them, particularly a lefty. It never changes.

I don't love the in game interview but there is a way to make it work. Those questions were shockingly pathetic. Ask some interesting baseball questions, and at least can be a decent listen, that was just brutal. zero prep

I mean I kinda get it - our boys haven’t been home in six weeks and the ladies of the house have been taking care of business, but enough is enough. Time to get back to baseball and quit screwing around. In every sense of the word.
