Ah the misplaced narrative of "Policy". Holding a majority in the state (I think Sturg understands this now) all the while people pretend that Trump wasn't a wildly successful policy president dealing with unprecedented assault against the presidancy.

Ah well - This is the primary. Hopefully you all will come back when Trump inevitably wins by 30+.

Pretend that Trump is acting any different than he ever has. Its ok to go down this road.

Trump was AWFUL for attacking Rubio/Cruz/etc.....

Then he went on to have the best presidency in decades while facing a globalist insurrection.

When I see an upgrade sure.

But when Tom Brady is still firing bullets the team trades Garoppolo and continues to win super bowls.

Its like you want to pretend that what Trump accomplished wasn't with unprecedented pushback which makes what he accomplished all the more amazing.

Well that's fair. We disagree on who is a better candidate.

But I can point to actual policy to justify my position. You will make constant excuses about "he didn't know!" to justify yours.

It's gonna be fun watching Trump descend further into madness as RDS takes the stage. It's not a good look for the "alpha" to keep crying about him
 
But if y'all want to continue with the 'OUTRAGE' about how could Trump do such a thing then I fear you won't understand why Trump will win the primary by 30+ points.

If this messaging is appealing to his base than I vastly overestimated his base

I think there is a small percentage of cultists who love it... most normal people cringe

But you did care about it when he talked about social security or his focus on social issues or his record in florida in comparison to prior Govs. You just don't like it now that the mean orange man is attacking your guy.

We will see what happens.

I've always said there were a lot of stupid people in this country.

Thats certainly on both sides.

Cuomo was CRIMINAL in his handling of COVID but the big mistake were the nursing homes.

COVID was always going to be blow up in NY because of the subway system and density of the population. I think an EASY argument could be made that getting it right in NY is orders of magnitude more difficult than it would be in FLorida even with age demographics. But ultimately Cuomo sent the eldery to their deaths and should be in jail for doing so.
 
I'd prefer it if the leading presidential contender didn't try to gaslight me on such ridiculousness just bc he's scared of someone

I agree with this. I think the some of the policies favored by populists are ultimately harmful, but there’s definitely something to the notion that people feel left behind by the status quo.
