Just a fun thought: The Braves responded to the 3-0 NLCS debacle against the Dodgers in 2020 by winning the World Series in 2021, winning 101 games in 2022, and are on an incredible 105-win pace in 2023. The core is still young and controlled for quite a while. Buckle up!

We are actually on a 110-win pace.

Spencer Strider delivered another electric performance in Saturday’s victory over the Rays, racking up 11 strikeouts over 6 1/3 scoreless innings.
The right-hander scattered just four hits and one walk on the evening. The biggest threat against him came in the opening inning, as Yandy Díaz singled and then Luke Raley smacked a one-out double to put two men in scoring position. Strider dug in and went on to strike out each of the next eight hitters in order — all on swinging third strikes — before plunking Wander Franco. In total, he generated a whopping 25 swinging strikes on 104 pitches in the ballgame — 12 on his fastball, 11 on his slider and two on his changeup — while posting an other-worldly CSW of 45 percent. The 24-year-old finishes a terrific first half with an 11-2 record, 3.44 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and a 166/34 K/BB ratio over 104 2/3 innings in 18 starts.

Olson making people like me feel embarrassed to poke their head in here every now and again.

By far the most fun team since 03. Even World Series team was a struggle until august and then the playoffs were straight sex injected into my veins.
