GDT 7/28/23: Braves vs Brewers - Chirinos debuts

I’m a McHugh super fan but he’s the last guy I want here given his strand rate. He needs to start innings to warm up. I hope I’m wrong!

There are no fewer than 4 guys in AAA right now who could have done as well as this loser tonight. If anyone thinks we don't have fat on the 40 man that can be trimmed, look no further than tonight

I just don't understand why we keep yo-yo'ing Soroka.

He hasn't pitched anywhere bad to keep getting sent down.

I agree. If we’re going to upgrade from anyone it needs to be Rosario.
i totally agree… but even if his arm is ass, Ozuna has a little range… if push comes to shove, move him to left, Travis to primary DH and alternate him with Eddie

Yonny had a FIP of 2.47 and and xFIP of 3.35 for this game. It's just more of the same crap we've seen from the opposing offenses over the last few weeks.

I don't get sending Soroka down to start AAAA trash. At least use the innings to help Mike work through things.

The Braves have seven exit velocities of 100.8 mph or above including Acuña 110.8 single, Brewers have none above 97.6 mph
