It's not entirely accurate, but ESPN has Ohtani next pitching against the Mariners. They have Atlanta facing Canning, Sandoval, and Giolito.

Matt Olson has one of the longest swings you've ever seen.

When he homers it's also one of the prettiest swings you've ever seen.

The prospect of Olson aging scares me to death. But I also think Riley is going to be Dan Uggla, so what the hell do I know?

If the goal is to maximize the window around Acuna’s prime, you’d be thrilled to sign someone like Olson for 6 years 132m. He’s probably going to be dog water in 4 years, but that’s okay if he produces like this while we still have a championship core.

It's true.

Also, Olson himself is long. Long legs, long arms...I'm not sure if he's capable of a short, compact swing. And because of that, he's always going to have cold spells and one day may not be able to catch up to a good fastball.

That day is not today. Lord have mercy, his bombs are huge, majestic 37 degree launch angle leviathons.

The #Braves today returned LHP A.J. Minter from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the 15-day injured list, after optioning RHP AJ Smith-Shawver to Triple-A Gwinnett following yesterday’s game. Additionally, the club reported INF Nicky Lopez to Atlanta and designated INF Charlie Culberson for assignment.
