Yeah. I am not sure I want Lopez taking the majority of starts on this team.
I guess you're right about LH getting most the starts, but I at least think lopez should get some starts at SS

Did Ozzie get any rehab PAs?
especially with this team. This is a series to not be overly aggressive on the base pathsThat hit by Olson is why the Harris play was so stupid. Anything hit hard to the outfield is extra bases
I'm sure that I don't want that.
López is elite with the glove, but he's bad enough with the bat that it wouldn't make up the deficit between Arcía's league-average bat and the surprisingly very-good defensive season Arcía is having.
What happened to Gompers?
With the braves, Lopez...
.361/.385/.472
You'll never convince me that Arcia's struggles of Kate aren't due to being tired.
Game totals 2020...
2020 - 59
2021 - 36
2022 - 68
2023 - 108
In a mere 39 PA, with a .414 babip and not discernible increase in average EV (and a worse average LA).
López is what he is: an elite glove that is nice to have on the bench.
Giving the Braves' starters more rest (which I would like to see) is a very different argument than making López the strong-side of a platoon with Arcía (which is insane).
That was always the premise. Matt correctly pointed out that Lopez would get most the starts, which isn't what I want. I'm more than fine with running Lopez out there twice a week
I think it's time to think about a platoon at SS
I'm glad that's the premise to which you've correctly come around, but it certainly wasn't "always the premise", my guy.
I didnt realize you were my wife to know what I really meant. Now go make me a sandwich
