Austin Riley

Is sprint speed just top speed? Maybe the difference is how quick Acuna can get there Vs Riley and Eddie

Something like that. No one in their right mind is saying Austin is faster than Ronald. Right?

I'm not sure what they are saying. Did you actually go to the site. It wasn't only about Austin but Rosario too and Lopez and Albies. The only thing I can say about Riley is that he runs out every ball to first base at full speed like the game depends on it. Acuna loafs half way down the line if it looks like the throw is going to beat him.

I really don't understand the article. Maybe, it's comparing players and the positions they play across baseball.

Acuña has literally been instructed by the team to avoid overexerting himself, and risking reinjury, on the sorts of balls you’re crowing about.

This schtick is pretty silly.

Looks like Riley will be pulling a Deion and playing WR for the Falcons and 3B for the Braves. Hope the helicopter is ready!

That chart lists HP to 1B times also, and has Albies first, even though his top sprint speed is a not great. Riley to 1B is not among the top few, but he does have a good top speed. Pretty cool to see the lefty advantage to 1st.

We know you hate Acuña… but he’s the heart and soul of the team and the best player in baseball whether you like it or not… obvious troll is obvious. As jpx said… the team instructed him to take it easy to avoid further injury and that is well documented… but it doesn’t fit your dinosaur narrative and mentality.

What?? I don't hate Acuna but I'm not on his bandwagon. I love Riley and Olson and without them this team would not be where they are right now without them as with the rest of the team who have helped them win. What about Stridor? What about Uzuno? The team would not be where they are with Acuna as the only player.

My question is: what is with this article? I don't understand it. I didn't write it. Are you saying that the person who wrote it hates Acuna?

Another question: Why do you hate Riley?

Good to see you read the article as some others didn't but immediately jumped to conclusions. I don't understand the article.

I don’t get this ‘I don’t understand stick’. You literally created the thread with a statement that Riley and Eddie are just as fast as Acuna and that DOESNT surprise you. So you understand then.

It’s not even an article. It’s a search query that this person created.

Riley absolutely does not run out every ball to first. And Acuna does not loaf down the line if he thinks there is a chance he can beat it.

He’s not on the “bandwagon” of the best player on his favorite team. Whatever. It’s obvious what his real problem with Acuña is and it’s disgusting. Get lost weirdo

What in the world are you talking about? It's an article that was on another Braves board and I gave you the link. Plus, the person on the other board stated that Riley and Rosario were as fast/sprint as Acuna. I just wrote what they stated. Just delete the entire thread if you want. Although it is an article....not one I made up. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/lead...023&max_season=2023&position=&team=ATL&min=10, I deleted my first post since you seem to think I made the entire article up. I certainly could not have written something like that.....I'm too stupid.
