Who is George Santos?

Its why we got Trump. There was media collusion against Ron Paul. Paul ran a really smart campaign and had a real shot to win if Romney didnt get enough votes to win in the first round of nomination votes. So they changed the rules specifically to avoid this. And Trump had the chance to endorse Ron Paul whos positions overlap with Trump more than anyone else. And instead he said Ron Paul has no chance and endorsed Romney. I think people underestimate how much of Trumps MAGA base were Ron Paul people. They watched him get screwed which makes them believe the BS Trumps spews. I specifically recall Hannity saying he loved Ron Paul except he didnt support all the wars and that made him unelectable. Now Hannity loves Ron Pauls position on wars. Go figure.
 
Santos' GOP colleagues from NY are to be commended for pushing for his expulsion. Hopefully, Schumer does the same with Menendez.

He’s facing 23 felony charges.
His campaign manager pled guilty to conspiring with him.
He pled guilty to stealing checks in Brazil.

They’re not even sure of his real name.

Yet, the House of Representatives couldn’t muster
enough respect for their chamber to expel George Santos.

The House (including large numbers of Republicans) is to be commended for expelling this criminal and fabulist liar and grifter.
 
“I’ve accepted the fate. I believe that if it’s God’s will to keep me here, I will stay, and if it’s his will for me to leave, I will leave and I will do so graciously,” Santos said on “Fox & Friends” Friday morning.

Looks like God gave him a little nudge out the door.
 
The only people that should be deciding if an elected representative is expelled from office are the voters that put them there in the first place.

This is beyond stupid and of course the weak ass republicans play along.

If Santos was a D not ONE SINGLE D would vote for him to be removed. And thats why R's lose.
 
Generally yes, it should be rare that someone is expelled from Congress. But the constitution does give them that power. And Santos imo should be expelled.

It should not have taken so long.

The only reason the Republicans voted him out was because he was hurt them. They cared not about his lies or his crimes, only about how it affected them.

And it's interesting how they refuse to say the word "lie" about why they finally ousted Santos.
