It’ll be fun to be a Braves fan on the sideline watching every other team get better except ours. Seems like AA doesn’t do anything at winter meetings. Usually done in November or just before spring training
Bob Nightengale tweeted the cubs were close to a deal with Gallen on a deal paying $22m per year. Jeff Passan followed that up and said that was not true. lol
per Ken Rosenthal, the Twins are expected to not trade Lopez, Ryan, or Buxton. They plan to try and compete in 2026.
Not surprising. Their division is relatively weak so they don't have to be that good to make the playoffs.
AA does not give out no trade clauses or deferred payments. This takes us out on any major free agent (Schwarber/Diaz/Bichette/etc..)
I honestly only expect to add on the fringes at best. I guess last season broke me as a Braves fan currently
Feels more to me like the blue jays trying to make a statement. They have been used the past few years by free agents to drive up offers of other teams
As I mentioned in another post, I think it’s a super quiet offseason until I see otherwise. Can’t wait for AA to hold a news conference at spring training and talk about how getting healthy is like making a ton of additions.
It’s not. There’s no guarantee Schwelly, Lopez, Jimenez, etc all come...
