The Brewers have been playing good ball lately. If they can take 2 from the Mets and then we can take 3+ from the Phillies, there is a good chance the Brewers can overtake Philly. That in and of itself would make me smile.

It feels to me that AA uses high-level prospects for high-level return and not for rental guys to fill a gap. So I assume prospects like Shewmake and Vines are less likely to be dealt unless we are getting back something with longerterm commitment.

I guess I disagree with everyone on this thread. I do not think there is any way Dansby will willingly take the QO and try to prove it was not a fluke. He has an opportunity right now to make the biggest contract of his life and he WANTS it. He will not give the braves a "hometown discount"...

How ****ty would Dansby feel if he lost his job in Atlanta because he was too good in a contract year combined with an unexpected your guy showing up?

Obviously 11 games is too SSS, however, his season is shaping up to be un real. If in a month, Albies is still not back and he is still destroying AA ball, it may be the play. It was after 43 games that AA felt he had to bring up Harris, and that seems to be working.
