    It’s a fair point. We really don’t know how the new rules will affect the game but we have a better chance to compete with a great defender than if we don’t. He not only throws well but his game calling and pitch framing also are really good. He’s the total package defensively and much better...

    My fear is we sign up to a huge contract and he turns back into the mediocre offensive player he’s been in the past. I’d love to have his defense back no question but he’s a frustrating offensive player to watch. I’d rather spend the money elsewhere
