Wow! My friend, Jim Lunsford is the one who talked with Fredi. it is firsthand, not second or third hand. Thought you may find it interesting but instead, you have to be an asshole about it. That's it for me. I really tried to have conversation here but f=dealing with assholes is just not worth...

This was actually a very close friend of mine. He texted me around 1:00 and told me about it. He told me that Fredi told him and he was the first to know, which was weird, but turned out to be the truth. I would have posted it here but I was driving.

The reason we trade Kimbrell: 1- Closers have a short baseball life unless you're Rivera. 2- We are not going to win for 2 more years. 3- His stock is as high as it's gonna get. The reason we keep Kimbrell: 1- Hart shocks us and signs Shields and Aoki and we're in it to win it in 2015.

I wouldn't mind Aoki at this point.

I can see Peraza moving to CF.

Looks like the Royals from last year.

This is not unlike the Teixeira deal. only we get the prospects. Nobody knows how the players will do. But, if ONE of them is decent, it is better than one year of Upton for 14 million on a team that finishes third.

I can't see Kemp. That deal with the Pads isn't a done deal anyway. I would consider Myers but whoever it is, don't flip out because Hart isn't done. We tend to start making out lineups after one deal. It isn't close to being over.

There is some validity to "he can't do much worse." Somebody needs to convince him to BUNT the ball every once in a while. He could hit .250 if he bunted every time. I also think that not having his brother on the team, if we can deal JUP, will help him a bit. Again, it couldn't hurt.

Upton to the Reds for Chapman and make him a starter. I know.

We really have no clue as to how well he may do in the bigs. I think the reason he is highly regarded by everyone is that he is the lone position player we think could be ready within a year.

In this potential 3-way with SEA, TB and SD, it is said that SD would get Walker. I thought they wanted more hitting. Is it possible they flip Walker to ATL for JUP?

Nobody wants to see that.
