Deficit spending will continue until we can do a real budget which isn't possible because we don't have 60 votes. Consistent budget reconciliation year after year is unfortunately the only thing we can do right now. There's only one way to get around this.

It took Reagan 2-3 years to get inflation under control in which came a recession. I'm not sure why people think things can be fixed overnight.
