Honestly what in the world did Wren and the Braves scouts see in BJ to offer him such a huge contract? IMO he is currently 5th on the OF depth chart with Heyward out. Not even sure if he warrants a playoff roster spot. I know Wren and Fredi will have him on the roster, but he truly does not...

I don't think they will panic, but Wren owes this team by checking all possibilities. Don't think there is an OF available out there worthy of bringing in, but he has to check. Pence could be available. With a broken jaw in two places Wren as to be thinking as if Heyward is done for the year...

Agreed....pitching continues to be solid if not superb.

Need to get healthy soon because the offense has been really lacking lately. Hopefully, Heyward is OK because he was playing some of his best baseball in a couple of years IMO. The lineup last few days resembled Gwinnett's and results were similar too.

EB > Janish? Offensively no doubt. Defensively not sure if EB could be even a fill in for Simba and Andrelton will need some rest. Losing Pena really hurt more than most people outside of the ATL realized. Too bad Pastornicky can't field because he would be a good replacment.

I think that nightmare will forever be entrenched in Braves fans for a long time and why a few of us are left wringing our hands . At least while Fredi is the manager.
