Mason Miller doing his best early-season Iglesias impression tonight: one pitch, tie game versus the Astros. Didn’t realize Miller had been so bad this season, in terms of results. Would be interesting as a buy-low, if the A’s were willing to sell low.

I’ve been told they expect him back this season, and they expect him to pitch in the pen. As for 2026, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to stretch him out again.

Agreed here. Either they turn it around, or they take the big bonus pool next draft, and retool this offseason in a big way for one more multi-season push with this core. Either way, don’t see a full punt on this season—though some selective selling (Iglesias if he rebounds in lower leverage...
