GDT 5/7/25: Braves vs Reds - Winner Gets To .500

The Braves have a tendency to let off the gas when they reach an in-season milestone. Let's hope they can get to .500 tonight and then not lose 3 of the next 4 while scoring 2 runs in those 4 games after celebrating the accomplishment.
 
Also, the irony of Verdugo doing exactly what everyone hoped Profar would do for the lineup would be amusing if Profar wasn't being paid $42M over 3 years.
 
I know Verdugo and White are going to be falling back to Earth here shortly, but it would not surprise me at all if a Verdugo/White platoon out performed Profar. Especially when you factor in defense.
 
Are the bats going to be able to do anything against Greene tonight? Feels like a 15+ strikeout kinda game for the O tonight.
 
Kinda sucks to see Murphy getting the night off after breaking through his slump last night.

I probably don't want to know the answer but...do we have to pay his entire salary since he was suspended as a result of his own stupidity/misconduct?
