The lineup literally has 4 bench-quality hitters in it daily, and Snit compounds the problem by batting one of them 2nd.

Depressing part is the one hitting second...when he hits second...is putting up better at bats than the guy behind him getting paid 200 million.
 
Alex Verdugo and arguably Nick Allen are putting up better quality at bats than Riley right now. Says all you need to know about this team.

I legitimately think Profar will help a lot. His approach is badly needed. He walks (even before last year) and hits plenty of singles. They do need another bat like that to go with the boom and bust
