GDT 6/23/25: Braves @ Mets - Not Everything is Schwelly in the Neighborhood

Nacho isn’t good, but at this point I have to think he has a chance at a .700 ops which is an improvement.
If he can manage a .700 OPS at the MLB level (I’m skeptical), then he can stand at SS for 6-7 innings before being relieved by Allen.
 
The Braves are currently running out 4 unplayable bats every day. It really can’t be understated how bad a sub-600 ops is. Upgrading to below average bats would help, as odd as that must sound.
3 of the 4 are bottom 10 among 243 qualified hitters this season in OPS. The other is bottom 30.
