To be fair, that’s every bit as much an indictment on the Republican Party as it is the Democratic Party. Trump didn’t just ascend to the throne, Republicans couldn’t offer a viable alternative to him either.

Ron D ran against Trump and he would have done everything the voters wanted but not in an insane way that makes the courts waste their time. I would have hated him.
