No. Because the drug user is only harming themselves in that scenario.

I am not saying the mother doesn't deserve 10 years. She does. But not punishing the Franco the same or worse is just wild when he was the one that committed the more serious crime.

I think the mother committed the more depraved crime. I do agree both should get the same amount of time though.

Yeah, but didn’t they extort him or something? I thought I remember reading that the girl and the mother lied about her age saying she was 17 which would make it technically legal to date with a 4 year age difference as long as he had consent from the parent.

Not that it makes it any better on his part. Dude was paying to have sex with a teenager. Her mother was trafficking and he was partaking in it. He absolutely deserves a prison sentence.

I imagine the kid will get the ban lifted eventually. This was a massive overreaction by everyone involved. This wasn't even a bad yo momma joke. It was about as tame as tame can be.

I know this probably isn’t when you meant but Marte is entitled to any reaction given he’s the one affected. I’ve seen someone have a breakdown in a Nordstrom because they smelled a perfume that reminded them of their dead mom.

But yea.. maybe the rest of us were a bit too quick to grab pitchforks.

Marte is fine to react whatever way he wants. And I'm fine with the fan getting booted from the game. But the ban from every ball park and everyone shitting all over this kid for a relatively tame heckle is pretty egregious.
