Wonder what a Soroka package would look like. (Probably need to ask Cy’s mom). Been really good his last five starts. Can still tell he is working out command and trying to figure out LHH better. If he could stay healthy he has a shot at getting back to a solid #3. Which would fit perfect in our rotation.

He doesn't suck at all... unless there's RISP. Here's his last 2 seasons with RISP...
14/62 (.226), 3 extra base hits
No runners on in same sample...
64/201 (.318), 19 extra
Probably just SSS, but this team has to have him hit more than .226 when RISP
Soroka is hard to figure. His peripherals say he's doing way better than his ERA suggest. 9 k/9. 2.28 bb/9. 3.05 xERA. 3.76 xFIP. But stuff+ says all of his pitches are average or worse.
Soroka has always had great command and location, but I just don't see how he could be a mid to low 3 ERA pitcher with such a mediocre array of pitches. He's probably somewhere in the middle of his current line and his expected line.
