Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Doesn't mean college is the right path for everyone. Doesn't mean that credentialism is not a problem. But when the day comes I'm very sure sturg will send his kids off to college, his anti-college rhetoric notwithstanding. I wish them a happy and successful experience.

It should also be noted that technological change has been biased in favor of highly educated workers for some time now, increasing the premium paid to college educated workers. There is no guarantee this will continue to be the case. There is no reason why the next generation of technological change will not be more favorable for less well-educated workers, which would reduce the premium paid to college-educate workers. Stick a big to be determined on that one.

Btw the fiscal transfers from college-educated to non-college-educated folks are enormous. The average college-educated person pays 400K more in taxes over their lifetime than the average non-college educated person. The average non-college educated person receives about 200K more in benefits over their lifetime than they pay in taxes. No flowers or thank you notes expected.
Is it your brand to constantly analyze current situations by looking backwards?

Haven't you learned your lesson in the states thread?

nah thats thethe.

im the one that points out that california was build on a republican juggernaut and and 3 decades of blue rule has led to a massive bleed. sure they still have their foundation, but what a missed opportunity.
