They want this trash heap blown up too. I get pissed every time they fail/lose, but that's the only way to wake AA up. Snit and about 3 key guys have to be sent to on a mission to mars next year

Exactly. I just don't get excited about the draft anymore because of this kind of crap. Best player available? Nope. Gotta spread out that pool money for later rounds. An incredibly talented position player available at our pick? Forget it. They want that one pitcher that hasn't pitched in three months, but threw 98 that one game when a Braves' scout saw him. How many 1st round picks have actually succeeded for the Braves in the past 30 years? Not many.
