Um what. Someone is comparing Showhey throwing heat Over a year and a half after surgery to strider not throwing as hard less than a year after surgery. Makes sense.

2 different surgeries, right? The strider one worries me bc we really have no track record

That is a legit concern. But he is less than a year out. Let’s give him some time before declaring him done.

I can see both sides... he hasn't had as much time, and he's out there pitching so he must be healed

I am not a doctor nor a pitching coach. But I have to think it might take some time to buiild things back. I would much rather see him popping 98. But I am not worried in a lost season. I want to see what he looks like next spring.
