But it’s hard to give the administration too much credit considering we wouldn’t be in such a staffing crisis if they just used a little bit of intelligence before blindingly cutting every probationary employee in the government. So many good meteorologists were needlessly cut… and now their positions are about to be rehired. I would be so angry. The probationary firings at NWS had nothing to do with their performance, just their convenience. And the firings were pointless.
