I’ll give Stephen Miller his credit here, this moment was absolutely what he was made for. He’s about the best possible person I could think of to do some extreme authoritarianism with little regard for rights or freedoms. It’s what gets him out of bed in the morning.

Hey, nothing wrong with someone doing what they love.
You know, I’m quite happy to take steps to confront the problem of billionaires financing propaganda machines head-on. I think the grifter-verse and media empire on the right might not like the consequences, though.
Beyond that, I enjoy the message of unity and recognition that the left is not a monolith all celebrating the death of Kirk. In that respect, Vance’s message is the best I’ve seen from the right on this. I still hold that the right does a lot of the very things Vance rightly condemns and Vance shrewdly only draws a direct parallel on a narrow aspect of the larger issue.

Alleged wife beaters/human traffickers/gang members. But to that end, I suppose that brings up a good point and we should at least wait until this person would be convicted of the crime before doing so.

I discussed this with a real world acquaintance recently. His contention was that American Jews are pushing lots of propaganda. When I asked for examples he brought up lots of Hollywood types. So I said, “is it that the Jews are doing it, or Hollywood is doing it?” He started to respond that it can’t just be Hollywood because so many of them are Jewish, but then said, “then again, the Jews have pretty much taken over Hollywood.”
Thankfully he had to run after that. It was very awkward.

I blame Joe McCarthy for not taking the problem seriously enough. You can trace this all back to the Red Scare professors teaching the hippies and then Weather Underground types, who made up a huge portion of government, media, and academia until recently. Now it’s their acolytes. The Gipper was 30 years too late to win the Cold War. He beat the USSR, but the Marxists were already going viral here.
