I read somewhere recently that the Braves wanted him to add another pitch and he refused. Don’t know how true that is though.
That Gausman was not the same guy we are seeing now. Of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Huh? Many of us on the board said it was nonsensical when it happened. Also, Gausman was still pretty good at that time, just with a run of bad luck. This isn’t hindsight. Freddito doing what he do. Maybe next year if we figure out how to keep players healthy he will do it to us.

Dinosauric but it is refreshing to see that starting pitchers can still do this in the postseason every once in a while.
