Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

“You’re either on the team or you’re not,” Hegseth told Holsey, according to notes from a participant. “When you get an order, you move out fast and don’t ask questions.”

This is what happens when you put an unqualified DEI hire like Hegseth in charge.
I find it funny that the seals screaming about DEI and meritocracy clap their hands over this alcoholic dumbfuck.

"Hey I was a reservist I know how to run the military. Fuck you career guys who severed for 40 years"

this is one of the least impactful majorities I can ever remeber

and it will be done a year from now

Do you support DEI hiring or not?
I think everyone should be hired and promoted based on merit, I know this is almost never the case in any job. I don't think DEI is any different than hiring someone's brother/SO/etc. I don't think it's any different than someone promoting someone's SO who doesn't want to work customer facing any more. So on so forth. I'm a fan of meritocracy, but I think pointing at DEI is hilarious when the entire point of it was to be like "Hey not white people can be good at jobs too"

Eh…

It was, if your'e a fan of statistics you'd understand that not being male middle class and white is a hard initial hurdle to clear historically for a lot of white collar jobs. Not saying it didn't happen, but it's a hurdle.
Not anymore. Nobody is discriminated more than white males in 2025. And yeah, there is data and systemic rules to support that statement
