For better or worse let's keep an update going.

9 public votes in so far and Andruw has gained 2 people from returning voters and 2 first time voters have also voted for him. He missed by 35 votes last year.

Utley should 100% be in.

He started his career full time relatively late and still accumulated +60 WAR.

I'd agree. He's a lot like Andruw in that regard.

From 2005-2014 he's basically tied with Pujols and Miggy as having the most fWAR in baseball.

Anytime you are the best in the game over a 10 year period you have a strong case and IMO you should get in. If he had won the MVP instead of Rollins that one year he'd have way more support.

He's at 60% last year I think? So trending up and likely gets in. If for some reason the writers don't then i easilt see him being a Jeff Kent committee guy.

Also, even when the Phillies had that stacked lineup in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The two guys I feared most wasn't Howard or Rollins. It was Utley and Victorino lol

And this is why you don’t give a team a competitive advantage based on some douche’s voting habits.
This is the same thing that all the Florida connected Heisman voters did in 2007 to ensure Tebow won it. They all left Darren McFadden completely off their ballots instead of ranking him 2nd or 3rd, in order to eliminate Tim's main competition.

For the record Tebow was a deserving winner, and didn't need or likely want their shenanigans to get the award. It was an insult to the process to completely omit McFadden, who also had a resume worthy of the award and who should have won it the year before.

Run DMC was one of the best runningbacks in CFB I've ever seen. Better than McGehee, Portis, and I'd say even as good as Reggie Bush because Bush had talent around him which let him run wild. McFadden did NOT.

That was a fun Razorback team. Also had Felix Jones too. Probablly the last time I was proud to be a Razorback football fan. lmao
