Omar is not going to jail.

It's not likely that it has any kind of impact at all on 2026.

Probably true.

Both are safe in Minnesota and Walz really doesn’t have much of a future in national politics after 2024.

I do think this will have an impact on the larger meta conversation on Democrats and immigration. It’s hard to square a circle when Biden completely failed on the border (Bernie’s words) on top of however this Minnesota scandal ends.

It’s going to bleed to multiple blue states.

It would probably actually be interesting if Lindell wasn't the nominee and it wasn't a Trump midterm; I've seen recently that part of the reason that MN isn't even more competitive is the MN GOP is complete garbage, and it could potentially be more competitive if they just nominated Normie McNorm as their candidates.

That’s kinda always the excuse but when this is all happening in your home state how much worse can the other guy be?

Just an excuse for defending their own faulty positions proven time after time
