Lolita Express is finally arrested.

You act like this happened with zero evidence.
If epstein isn't an agent of the mossad, he's still connected to some highly influential people and politicians.

Just funny to me you're convinced everyone in the files is guilty except trump who was his best friend for 20 years.

I did not say everyone in the files is guilty.

Epic!

Communications from November 2012.

For context Epstein entered a guilty plea with Florida prosecutors in June 2008. To one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of procuring a minor for prostitution.

I don't think Elon is in any sort of legal jeopardy. But the boards of the companies he works for have certain legal and ethical obligations. Leon Black, for example, was forced out as Apollo's CEO. However, his entanglements with Epstein were far deeper.

To be clear. I don’t there is anything in the Epstein files that would bear the standard of proof to convict someone legally.

But there fate in the court of public opinion should be sealed

His activities on twitter the past 48 hours have been quite interesting. While each case is different and should be assessed on its merits (or demerits), I think the institutional sanctions against Larry Summers might be an appropriate template for similarly implicated individuals. Sergey Brin is another very big fish who was happy to engage in social networking with Epstein in the years after his guilty plea.

On December 2, 2025, the American Economic Association (AEA)—a leading professional body for economists—imposed a lifetime ban on Summers, prohibiting him from attending, speaking at, or otherwise participating in AEA events, publications, or activities. The AEA cited the "reputational harm" to the organization from his "close ties" to Epstein, emphasizing ethical standards for members. This was not tied to any legal violation but to maintaining the group's integrity amid public scrutiny.

OpenAI board: Summers resigned from the board of directors on November 19, 2025. He had joined in late 2023. OpenAI accepted the resignation, stating they respected his decision and appreciated his contributions.

Harvard University roles: He went on leave from teaching responsibilities (discontinuing classes for the remainder of the semester) and stepped down as director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. Harvard launched an investigation into his ties to Epstein (and others named in the files) to evaluate potential further actions. He remains a tenured professor but is not actively teaching.

Santander international advisory board: He resigned from this role (where he served as chair) on or around November 19, 2025.

  • Center for American Progress (senior fellow since 2012) — ended his fellowship.
  • Yale Budget Lab advisory group — withdrew.
  • Hamilton Project (Brookings Institution economics policy arm) — stepped away.
  • Center for Global Development (board chair) — stepped down.
  • Peterson Institute for International Economics — stepped away from association.
  • Media/contributor roles: The New York Times did not renew his one-year opinion contributor contract (started January 2025); he ended his paid columnist role at Bloomberg News.

It should be noted that in 2021 Gates resigned from the boards of Microsoft and Berkshire Hathaway when some of this information about his ties to Epstein came out.

I should correct that. It does not appear that Brin associated with Epstein after 2008. Before that he spent a LOT of time with Epstein. That is also the case with respect to Clinton and Trump.

The newly released files also include notes and transcripts of interviews that federal investigators conducted with Mr. Epstein’s victims, some of whom describe interactions with Mr. Trump.

For instance, handwritten notes from one interview in September 2019 — about a month after Mr. Epstein died by suicide in a Manhattan jail — say that a victim, whose name has been redacted, recalled being transported in a dark green car to Mar-a-Lago to meet Mr. Trump.

“This is a good one, huh?” the victim recalls Mr. Epstein saying to Mr. Trump. The notes do not suggest misconduct by Mr. Trump.

In another file, Juan Alessi, who worked for Mr. Epstein, is reported to have told investigators that Mr. Trump — along with other well-known individuals — had visited Mr. Epstein’s home.

Some of the new files are duplicates of emails and other records that the Justice Department or the House Oversight Committee released late last year. Those files show that, long after Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein’s relationship ended, Mr. Epstein remained intensely focused on his former friend, which included looking for ways to leverage Mr. Trump’s political rise for his own purposes.

Some newly released files add to the sense that Mr. Epstein was keeping close tabs on the president. In 2018, for example, Mr. Epstein’s accountant emailed him a link to a Reuters article about congressional investigations into Mr. Trump and Deutsche Bank, which for years was the president’s primary lender. At the time of the email, Deutsche Bank was also Mr. Epstein’s main bank.

In 2002, a woman named Melania wrote a warm email to Ghislaine Maxwell, Mr. Epstein’s longtime associate who is now serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of participating in his sex-trafficking operation. It is not clear if the sender of the email is the future first lady, Melania Knavs, who married Mr. Trump about three years later.

The email was sent shortly after New York magazine published a profile of Mr. Epstein that included a photo of him with Ms. Maxwell. The article included a now-famous quote from Mr. Trump in which he called Mr. Epstein a “terrific guy” and said that “he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
