still a lot of games to go before the next day off. I would run him to 80-90 pitches before even thinking about pulling him.. then don't use R. Saurez at all today.

90 pitches is nothing when they are zero stress pitches. If Sale is going to get hurt then he's going to get hurt. Limiting him to 70 pitches in an outing isn't going to stop that.

I was so embarrassed for Ozzie that they even had a press conference to announce that extension.

That contract was so embarrassingly low compared to what Acuña got a few weeks before that.
 
While I do appreciate that twit jr. used R. Saurez for the heart of the A's order in the 7th inning, I am still trying to understand why you warm him up and use him with a 4 run lead and a tough 4 game series coming up.. 2-1 game, then I get it.
 
A 4 run lead is definitely the limit I would throw Suarez. But the BP isn't exactly taxed. Should have gone with Bido or Kinley.
