I wonder if the interview between AA and WW went something like:

AA: "Look, you were next to him in the dugout for a decade. I don't expect you to be perfect. But you know all the stupid shit he used to do in-game, just try to not do 90% of those things and I think we'll be ok"
 
The fact that so many people are shocked by the Mets' slow start is wild. They're talented, but they also just threw a roster together and got rid of multiple core players who shaped their identity as a team.
