I know right. Why use a position player? Might as well use a real pitcher up by 16 in the middle of 13 straight games. No matter what, don’t save any pitches for any pitchers.

I couldnt help but think while watching that 5th inning, that a year ago that same sequence would have resulted in 0 runs. We probably still win the game but wow. Might be the biggest run differential on ABS this season.

After yesterdays game he is officially at 136 wRC+ since the 2025 ASB. Granted, it's almost entirely against RHP and he is unplayable vs LHP. But he could make a pretty mean DH platoon with Murphy.
