2026 : Around the League

The braves were 1-12 in the state of California last season. They start a 3-game series tonight there again.
 
The Angels have a garbage offense and a mediocre pitching staff. And now Trout is probably going to be out at least a game. Maybe 2. We honestly should sweep them since we're throwing Sale, Lopez, and Holmes. At minimum, we gotta take 2 of 3.

Even if he optimistically could play 130 games or more (he's done that only 3 times since 2016, excluding 2020), he's not even a 4 fWAR player at this stage in his career.

Aside from finishing his career with the Angels, the next best option is having the Phillies trade for him and pay him 20+ million to miss 80 games a year.
