I’m still guarded. We continued the best offense in baseball theme from 2023 into 2024… they were lights out the first month before falling off. So I’d like to see it sustained for more than a month and some of the better regulars need to step it up (Riley, Ronnie, Harris).

This. Usually the greats aren’t always great teachers, but it seems chipper is the exception to that rule.
Dubon said Chipper helped him too. And what's hilarious is that Chipper himself needed help from his dad a lot through his career.

Chipper has an incredible eye for talent too. He was super early on McCann and Freeman becoming great hitters.
Chipper being around to help as needed probably works better. If he was the full time hitting coach he’d be at risk of being fired. That would be an awkward situation all around.
